The Elder Scrolls III: Tribunal Hints
Hunt the Dark Brotherhood
of 12: Technically, as far as your journal is concerned, this is a separate quest from the previous Dark Brotherhood Attacks quest, although you have to solve the former before you can get this one, and they're quite related in terms of plot.
of 12: As you should have learned in that quest, the Dark Brotherhood's headquarters are located somewhere in the Bazaar Sewers.
of 12: Or more specifically, just off the Bazaar Sewers.
of 12: If you explore that area, you should find two sets of doors leading into the Manor District. Take either of those, and you'll be told that you've found the Dark Brotherhood's hideout -- and the appropriate section for this quest will be added in your journal.
of 12: Once you're in the Manor District, head down a bit until you see doors into Moril Manor. There aren't too many tricks here -- you just need to keep fighting the Dark Brotherhood members until you've cleared most of them out.
of 12: Specifically, look in the Moril Manor, North Building. You can get there from one of the doors in the Manor District.
of 12: Open one of the unlocked metal doors in here, and you'll find Dandras Vules -- who's yet another Dark Brotherhood member.
of 12: Dandras's last words should be something about failing his liege. (If you have a problem with his dialogue "looping" here, see my IMPORTANT PATCH NOTE.)
of 12: Find out what he meant by that, and the quest will be over.
of 12: Search his corpse.
of 12: There's a "contract in perpetuity with H" on his body. That's what you're looking for. Take it, and you'll be done with this one. Your journal also suggests talking to a guard immediately.
of 12: Specifically, follow up with Tienius Delitian, who's in the palace's Throne Room.
