  • 1 of 15: You can get wealthy very early. All you need are cool nerves and speed.
  • 2 of 15: Take all the "track a recent transfer" assignments you can. Sooner or later you'll bump into a mother load of credits -- usually from 800,000c to 1,000,000c. Now prepare yourself.
  • 3 of 15: You'll need:
    1) A Proxy Disabler or a Proxy Bypass
    2) Log deleter v4.0
    3) The IP and number of your bank account (you should keep it somewhere
    written, anyway)
  • 4 of 15: "That's it?" Yes, that's it.
  • 5 of 15: Hack into the system. If you don't have a Monitor Bypass, simply hack the password first, disconnect and reconnect. You won't get traced when you go in again.
  • 6 of 15: Start the Proxy Disabler (or plug in your Proxy Bypass). If your luck runs out, they'll start tracking you. Don't panic, just let the trace run and hope you had enough bounces in between.
  • 7 of 15: When the Disabler's finished, transfer the full amount to your own account. Now begins the speed part.
  • 8 of 15: Delete the logs in the account immediately. Then disconnect and click the OK button.
  • 9 of 15: Log into the Uplink Internal Services Machine and buy what you don't have
    of these:
    HUDConnectionAnalysis,
    Monitor Bypass v5.0 and
    Proxy Bypass v5.0.
    This will cost 65,000c, a mere pittance now.
  • 10 of 15: Then click on "finances" and on your account number. You'll contact directly to your account.
  • 11 of 15: Click Connection Analysis on (two squares connected by broken lines -- the rightmost button in your Gateway Manager), and plug in Monitor Bypass and Proxy Bypass.
  • 12 of 15: Click on "View Statement" and delete the log of the incoming transaction.
  • 13 of 15: Now disconnect and de-log. Check Logometry for more details if you need to. After a while you should be getting a mail from Uplink, telling you that your rank has gone up -- way up if you do this as early as possible.
  • 14 of 15: Next time use the Monitor Bypass and Proxy Bypass when you hack in the first bank as well -- you'll have no fear of getting caught. (except for the logs, that is).
  • 15 of 15: Note that this takes away much of the excitement in the game. My advice is to rob banks when you've already bought most things money can buy. Then it's just raising your score (and Skill Rank).
