Uru: To D'ni Hints
Getting Started in D'ni
of 21: Uru: To D'ni is all about exploration. There is, however, a lot to explore, and not knowing where to go can be frustrating at times. Explore first, though, and go on to the next hint if you're still stuck.
of 21: Check out your Relto Age, namely the bookshelves. Notice the blue book with the golden spiral on it. Why don't you take a gander at that?
of 21: The book links you to Bevin, a D'ni neighborhood. Explore the area.
of 21: You should find a Linking Book on a pedestal. This book links to the Nexus.
of 21: At this point, the only place you have access to via the Nexus is the Ferry Terminal. Link there and explore.
of 21: Try all Linking Books and Bahro Stones (Linking Stones) you come across. Have any of them linked you anywhere familiar?
of 21: At the Ferry Terminal in Ae'gura, you should find a Bahro Stone near a broken gate not far from the Nexus book (in a short tunnel). This links you to Teledahn, the mushroom age you visited in Ages Beyond Myst.
of 21: The entire age, however, is rather large and it would be cumbersome to explore the whole thing again. Since To D'ni is about exploring D'ni and the efforts of the D'ni Restoration Council (DRC), maybe you should check in on the recent efforts of the DRC.
of 21: Go to Douglas Sharper's office (which you can link to either via the office on Teledahn or your Ae'gura book on Relto). Maybe Dr. Sharper has something new to say about his efforts.
of 21: Read the new journal on Sharper's desk (dated 2004). It's kind of a long read, but try to extract any useful information you can. Keep a look out for familiar locations or mentions of unusual things.
of 21: Sharper mentioned that there's a Spy room that can be accessed from behind the prison underneath Teledahn. He also gave a set of three numbers: 2175; 58; -81.
of 21: Through Kirel's Egg Room (re-read the previous question for details on getting inside), you have access to five areas: Tokotah Alley, the Palace Alcove, the Library Courtyard, the Concert Hall Foyer, and the Great Zero Observation area (Rezeero).
of 21: Freely explore each area. As you visit each area, be sure to use your KI to add that area to your Nexus list for easier access.
of 21: Your true task in To D'ni begins as soon as you get to Rezeero.
