Voyage Hints
Ardan says he is feeling drunk; what do I do?
of 10: Imagine you are in a capsule in space, and suddenly you feel a bit woozy -- perhaps your vision even becomes unstable. What might be causing it?
of 10: In an enclosed chamber, such as the projectile used by Ardan, it is critical to maintain a good balance of breathable air.
of 10: How is the air controlled inside the capsule?
of 10: Have you looked around to see what "instrumentation" there is in the capsule? (Take your time -- this is not a timed sequence.)
of 10: There appear to be some sort of gauges at one end of the capsule -- how are they labeled?
of 10: One is labeled "O2" and the other is "CO2". This looks promising.
of 10: There is also a thermometer that registers the temperature inside the capsule. It should remain fairly stable, right around the middle of the range.
of 10: There are two things that could result in the wooziness that Ardan is feeling.
of 10: One is too high an oxygen content in the air; the other is too much carbon dioxide in the air.
of 10: Both gauges should be near the middle of their range.
