Voyage Hints
Ardan is suffocating; what do I do?
of 14: It seems that something has happened to the quality of the air, making it unbreathable.
of 14: How is the air controlled inside the capsule?
of 14: Have you looked around to see what "instrumentation" there is in the capsule?
of 14: There appear to be some sort of gauges at one end of the capsule -- how are they labeled?
of 14: One is labeled "O2" and the other is "CO2". This looks promising.
of 14: There is also a thermometer that registers the temperature inside the capsule. It should remain fairly stable, right around the middle of the range, as should the two gauges.
of 14: If Ardan is suffocating, it must be that the oxygen level is too low.
of 14: You've got to raise the oxygen level in the capsule.
of 14: How is the oxygen being produced inside the capsule?
of 14: Notice the metal dish, with the screen cover, over the small flame near the gauges.
of 14: Heating potash produces oxygen.
of 14: If the oxygen level is too low, the potash in the dish is not being heated enough (or there is no potash in the dish).
of 14: Check the dish to see which is the case.
of 14: Click on the silver dish to rotate it away from the flame, and open the screen.
