What are all of these symbols I am finding on the walls by the ledges?
of 12: Look closely at the diagrams. Each contains two "lines" of symbols.
of 12: The top line typically has three simpler symbols...
of 12: ... and the bottom line seems to show some of the various lunar plants.
of 12: In each case, the middle symbol on the top line is ">".
of 12: And each bottom line appears to show two settings of two different plants.
of 12: Since the same two plants are shown in both settings, what is different about them?
of 12: The first setting (i.e., the first half of the bottom line) shows two of the five lunar plants -- which should be identifiable, if Ardan has explored enough of the plateau area to discover the unique features of each of the five colorful plants.
of 12: The second setting seems to show that one plant has "overpowered" -- or dominated, or subdued -- the other plant.
of 12: This would appear to indicate that there is a "pecking order" to the plants.
of 12: It would also indicate that the top row (of three symbols) are ideograms for the two plants, separated by the middle symbol (">"), which would imply a meaning for this symbol of "is greater than", or "dominates", or "subdues".
of 12: Be sure to have Ardan "jump" to every level of ledges that he can. There should be five in all. Make note of all diagrams and symbols found at each level.
of 12: When you have all five diagrams, you will have a complete hierarchy dictating how the five groups of plants interact with each other.
