Voyage Hints

What is the complete hierarchy?

  • 1 of 6: From the symbols on the bottom ledge (where Ardan first jumped -- and the ledge containing the "fire" and "water" sources):  "blue" (note the "head" shape) is greater than "purple" (note the shooting darts).
  • 2 of 6: From the next ledge up: "purple" is greater than "yellow" (note the balloon-shaped plant).
  • 3 of 6: From the next ledge up: "yellow" is greater than "red" (note the squat, wing-like top, and the mandibles).
  • 4 of 6: From the next ledge up: "red" is greater than "green" (note the scraggly "arms").
  • 5 of 6: From the top ledge: "green" is greater than "blue".
  • 6 of 6: Thus, the hierarchy is:  blue > purple > yellow > red > green > blue. (It is interesting -- as well as useful -- to note how this relationship relates to the actual physical layout of the five plants on the top of the plateau.  None is placed beside a plant that is immediately next to it in this hierarchy.)
