Some additional points about jumping
of 4: Once a jump has been successfully made from Point A to Point B, you will be able to make that same jump in the future without the meter present. Just click on the target location to have Ardan jump there.
of 4: Jumping back from Point B to Point A still requires the use of the "jump meter" for the first time. (I.e., a successful jump from A to B does not imply a successful jump from B to A.)
of 4: Once Ardan has jumped successfully to a point on the plateau, search around the plateau for other potential destination points. You may find it easier to get all of your jumping in at once. That is, find all the points you can jump to, jump to them, jump back again, and "cover all the bases". Then, from that point on, you won't be bothered with the "jump meter" for any of those common jumps.
of 4: There will be times that, due to physical changes in Ardan, his jumping abilities will be affected. Sometimes, he will get sudden bursts of energy that allow him to jump to farther locations than before (and with larger green areas that make the targeting easier.) At other times, sluggishness will overtake his body, and the green "target" area on the jump meter will be quite small. At these times, his jumping must be much more precise.
