How do I work the panel at the left end of the hall?
1 of 6: The panel is at the left end of the hallway, after exiting the elevator. It is just beyond the falling mushrooms, at position "6" on the ground.
2 of 6: Click on the panel for a close-up view. Note the slot for a level "2" key, to the right of the panel.
3 of 6: When the puzzle has been solved correctly, a door drops open on the panel, revealing a (by-now familiar) switch.
4 of 6: Click on the switch, and the wall segment to your left slides back, revealing another room.
5 of 6: Successively clicking the switch alternates between closing and opening the door to the adjacent room.
6 of 6: If you have managed to obtain a level "2" key BEFORE you solved this puzzle, using the level "2" key on the slot will accomplish the same thing as solving the puzzle.
