How can I confuse him?
1 of 14: Do you remember how Ardan briefly got a "weird feeling" earlier in the game?
2 of 14: What caused that to happen?
3 of 14: He had created a compote of blue and green fruit (heated over a fire), and ate it.
4 of 14: The result was dizziness, and almost a sense of disorientation.
5 of 14: Maybe you could feed some of that to the alien!
6 of 14: However, this alien will not take anything from you directly.
7 of 14: How could you get him to eat your concoction?
8 of 14: The only thing he eats is what is in his feeding tube.
9 of 14: Return to the "kitchen", and try putting the compote into the large vat of food.
10 of 14: After doing that, check back with this alien.
11 of 14: Something has changed; he doesn't seem to be himself.
12 of 14: (In fact, you can also check the alien on Level 3; he is responding quite differently, also. So his food appears to be coming from the same source as the other alien.)
13 of 14: Unfortunately, although the blue-yellow compote does seem to have an effect on the alien, he still will not allow you to explore the room, or take anything from it.
