Voyage Hints

How can I distract him, or redirect his attention?

  • 1 of 19: This particular alien seems to be a hard-working, dedicated sort.
  • 2 of 19: In fact, it almost seems as if your presence is a disruption to his work.
  • 3 of 19: He probably would like to get back to work...
  • 4 of 19: ... especially if he felt just a bit more energetic.
  • 5 of 19: Has Ardan run across anything that has caused *him* to be more energetic?
  • 6 of 19: Those fruit compotes can be pretty powerful things.
  • 7 of 19: If you've looked at the hints for How can I confuse him?, you'll know that it is possible to feed a compote to the alien.
  • 8 of 19: You'll also know that the blue-yellow compote (which gave Ardan the green vision) won't work.
  • 9 of 19: But you may have also tried to create another compote for Ardan, which had a different effect.

  • 17 of 19: So busy, in fact, that he doesn't even notice that you're here.
  • 18 of 19: Even if you were to explore around the room (or even take things from the room), he wouldn't even notice!
  • 19 of 19: Once the alien is busily back to work, you have an unlimited time to pick up items in the room, open the cabinet against the wall, or do whatever else you need to do.
