Can you give me a hint, if I want to try it on my own?
1 of 14: If you are trying to save your lunar coins (or simply don't have enough), and wish to try this puzzle on your own, start by figuring out what needs to be done.
2 of 14: The dignitary has said that Ardan needs to be able to speak Selenite, before he can have an audience with the Supreme Being who can provide him with a higher-level key.
3 of 14: But Ardan has indicated that his own human vocal chords are not capable of producing the sounds that comprise the spoken Selenite language.
4 of 14: In addition to actually listening to a Selenite speak, where else have you heard Selenite sounds produced?
5 of 14: The harmonic educator is able to produce sounds identical to Selenite speech.
6 of 14: In fact, their speech sounds very melodic -- almost like a musical instrument.
7 of 14: Perhaps Ardan could use some kind of musical instrument to reproduce the sounds necessary for him to "speak" Selenite.
8 of 14: Have you encountered anything yet that might help him in this manner?
9 of 14: Have you explored the necropolis area, at the top of the mountain?
10 of 14: Did you find anything in either of the two sarcophagi there that might address the problem?
11 of 14: In the first sarcophagus -- on your right, near the gate as you enter the necropolis -- is a damaged flute.
12 of 14: It looks as though it is missing some parts.
14 of 14: Once you have repaired the flute, it will be "applied" to the image of Ardan in the inventory, and added to his list of "competencies" (displayed beneath his image). Ardan will now be able to speak Selenite!
