Voyage Hints

What can I do on the ledge across from the plateau?

  • 1 of 13: This ledge is the one that is accessible from the plateau, when jumping from the point with the two pillars.  There are two containers on this ledge -- one for "water", and one for "fire".
  • 2 of 13: If you turn to face the plateau, you will occasionally see blue fruit float by.
  • 3 of 13: This fruit is "catchable" -- if you're quick enough.  (Although it is only one of many sources of this blue fruit.)
  • 4 of 13: You can also make use of either the water or fire, if you need them at any time.
  • 5 of 13: If you face the plateau, then look to your left, you will see another "landing point" on a section of stairs.  It looks like there once might have been a stairway up the side of the cliff face, but pieces of it have been lost over time.  However, you can jump between the segments.
  • 6 of 13: There is also a small area on the edge of the ledge where you initially arrived that contains some fertile soil -- presumably excellent for growing something.
  • 7 of 13: Do you have anything in your inventory that you might plant here?
  • 8 of 13: Any lunar fruits that you may have already gathered are not suitable to plant here.
  • 9 of 13: But didn't Ardan bring something along with him, that he intended to try and plant on the moon?
  • 10 of 13: Try to plant the potted vine in the fertile soil on the ledge.
  • 11 of 13: After you have planted the vine, Ardan can now climb up to the top of the mountain, and not need to jump from ledge to ledge all the way up.
  • 12 of 13: Also, there will now be one more thing that will be available to you on the ledge.
  • 13 of 13: For the remainder of the game, there will be an unlimited supply of grapes at the base of the vine.
