Voyage Hints
I tried to plant the vine, but Ardan says it's not strong enough.
of 14: What might you be able to do to strengthen the vine before planting it?
of 14: Perhaps it's a problem with the vine being "foreign" to the lunar climate.
of 14: Maybe something already more familiar with the lunar climate would help.
of 14: Have you made your way yet past any of the plants on the moon?
of 14: It required hybrid plant seedlings to overcome the aggressive plants.
of 14: Could you create some kind of hybrid using the potted vine, so that it would be strengthened?
of 14: There is really no outright clue at this point. You could use trial and error, gathering all five different fruits, planting them in shells to create seedlings, and trying to combine each with the potted vine.
of 14: But the vine will only combine with one plant seedling. And the closest thing to a clue is... well, the closest fruit to the fertile soil.
of 14: Use one of the blue fruits (the ones floating by) to create a plant seedling (by combining it with a shell of potting soil).
of 14: Create a hybrid in the same manner as before, this time using the blue plant seedling and the potted vine.
of 14: Combine the two in inventory. What is the third item required?
of 14: Bind the two together, using raffia (either from the capsule, or lunar raffia).
of 14: Plant the hybrid in the fertile soil. Wow! Jack-and-the-beanstalk results!!
