What can I use to activate this machine?
1 of 5: Have you looked closely at the various formulas for the Purifier? They can be found on the left and right panels of the machine, or they can be referenced in the log (if you have already encountered them).
2 of 5: One of the formulas shows the creation of a purple and green crystal, followed by an equation that implies that combining the crystal with an alien results in the alien changing size.
3 of 5: The formula begins with a purple/green hybrid placed in the Purifier. Make the hybrid as before -- by combining the two seedlings, and binding them with raffia.
4 of 5: The result, after operating the Purifier, is "Xulmi's crystalline powder". The formula then calls for combining this with a white crystalline substance.
