Voyage Hints

Button at top of machine

  • 1 of 11: This button is the key to using the decanter measure.
  • 2 of 11: It is the connection point between the can on the stone slab at the left, and the graduated cylinder on the right.
  • 3 of 11: Whenever the button is pressed, pink liquid will flow between the can and the cylinder, depending on two conditions.
  • 4 of 11: First, the liquid can only flow one way.
  • 5 of 11: The direction of flow is indicated by the highlighted yellow arrow.
  • 6 of 11: When the left arrow is lit, pressing the button causes the liquid in the cylinder (if any) to flow into the can until it is full.
  • 7 of 11: Any remaining liquid stays in the cylinder.
  • 8 of 11: When the right arrow is lit, pressing the button causes the liquid in the can (if any) to flow into the cylinder on the right, until either the can is empty, or the cylinder is full.
  • 9 of 11: Any remaining liquid stays in the can.
  • 10 of 11: The second condition is that, if the source is empty, nothing will happen.  However, if the source has more than enough liquid to fill the receiving side, only enough liquid to fill the receiving side will be transferred.  The rest will remain in the source.
  • 11 of 11: By clicking on the handle below the yellow lights, you can change the direction of flow to be right-to-left, or left-to-right.
