Voyage Hints
What is this clue?
of 23: Have you explored around the underground area thoroughly (the area down by the scale, the pipe organ, and a few other items)?
of 23: You may have discovered that there is a "back door" to that underground room (which exits back up to the top of the plateau). And at the base of the stairs to this "back door", there is a piece of paper hung on the wall.
of 23: Initially, it seems to show something that looks much like a skull...
of 23: ... although, if you study it closely, it represents the top of the plateau itself.
of 23: In fact, standing on the top of the plateau, you can even make out some light blue lines on the ground that help you align your perspective of the plateau with the image on the picture.
of 23: If you are having trouble making the connection, focus on the marking on the "forehead" of the skull -- the circle with the two marks on either side of it. You should be able to find those markings -- in a very large format -- in light blue, on the ground on top of the plateau.
of 23: When you have made the connection between the diagram and the plateau itself, you will see that the "eyes" of the skull very nearly represent the locations of the two panels with the square buttons.
of 23: Perhaps there is some further information that can be found on the diagram, which could provide the needed clue to solve the puzzle of the panels.
of 23: But it just isn't immediately apparent.
of 23: However, there are some ideograms that you should be able to decipher.
of 23: If you don't yet understand the symbols below the skull, you might want to do some further exploration and game-playing before reading ahead in this clue.
of 23: There are two lines of ideograms. Referencing the Ideograms section in your inventory (or just intuiting what they might mean), the first line is: "blue fruit + red fruit = food".
of 23: And underneath, the two ideograms say "See" and "light".
of 23: A loose interpretation of this might be "Make food out of the blue fruit and the red fruit, and see the light".
