What's this "Wastelands 2" joke?
There was never a wastelands 2. Electronic Arts (or is it now Interplay?) has the rights to Wastelands and is sitting on them, much like it's sitting on the Bard's Tale rights. There was a pseudo-sequel, "Fountain of Dreams", which, say my sources, was nowhere near as good as Wasteland. "Fallout" is the sequel to Wastelands in spirit, and uses a lot of the same ideas as Wastelands, and if you look at the game closely, you'll notice a few direct similarities (the "Red Ryder BB gun" for instance).
