The Watchmaker Hints

What do I do in the crypt?

  • 1 of 8: Notice the two statues.  Perhaps you have something in your inventory that could provide more information on what to do with them.
  • 2 of 8: Have you been to the salon in the old wing yet?
  • 3 of 8: Look at the picture you picked up.  It shows two coins in the hands on the left, and three in the ones on the right.  Perhaps you can mimic this with the statues first.  You'll need a coin first, though.
  • 4 of 8: You can find one in the supervisor's safe.
  • 5 of 8: One coin won't be enough, though.  You need to duplicate it somehow.
  • 6 of 8: Or at least, you need to duplicate its weight.
  • 7 of 8: Once you have two envelopes with two coin-weights each, as well as the original coin, you can simulate what you saw in the picture.
  • 8 of 8: Just put one envelope in the cup on the left, and the other envelope, plus the coin, in the cup on the right.  A compartment will open, and you can take the metal plate inside.
