Find a way to disable the ballista.
1 of 4: If you go up onto the ballista's wooden platform, you'll find a very alert guard there who won't let you tamper with the ballista.
2 of 4: You'll need to find a way to distract that guard. Look for possibilities near the campfire.
3 of 4: Just south of the campfire is a woman named Margarita. Talk to her about surprising your friend.
4 of 4: You can either agree to pay and then give her 50 orens, or you can ask if there's any other way you could convince her to get the "Defeat Myron and Alphonse at arm wrestling" objective.
