Zork: Grand Inquisitor Hints

The Snapdragon is pretty mean.

  • 1 of 11: Yes, he is.  You need to find a way to calm him down.
  • 2 of 11: Do you have anything that might make him less agitated?
  • 3 of 11: If you give the Snapdragon the Prozork tablet, it will calm him down... though, perhaps a little bit too much.
  • 4 of 11: You need to find a way to tame him, without him having to be asleep.
  • 5 of 11: Perhaps the Dungeon Master has some information on the subject?
  • 6 of 11: Don't read any further until you've been in the Dungeon Master's house.
  • 7 of 11: You need to take the sleeping Snapdragon to the spring plant behind the Dungeon Master's house.  (You can cut him free with your sword.)
  • 8 of 11: Unfortunately, the plant isn't fully grown, and it's not much use unless it is.
  • 9 of 11: Do you have any way to get the plant to grow faster?
  • 10 of 11: Cast THROCK on it.
  • 11 of 11: Then, just hit the spring plant with your hammer.  This will make him happy, and get you something in return!
