Bioshock Hints

Find the Research Camera.

  • 1 of 12: If you have the Telekinesis plasmid handy, you can use it to pull down some items through the large hole in the ceiling near the fishery door, including two searchable corpses, a box of buck, and a first aid kit. (You could try shooting those items down with the pistol, but they may not all fall to the floor.)
  • 2 of 12: Go back through the door that leads to the RPG turret barricade area, and get back up on the shed roof using the slanty log..
  • 3 of 12: Before you get off the shed roof, look down to the flooded area at the bottom of the nearby stairs to see several splicers.
  • 4 of 12: Go up the stairs and to the nearby Gene Bank machine, watching out for any new splicers up there.
  • 5 of 12: Go south from the Gene Bank to find the open door that leads to the upper wharf and the wharfmaster's office. (There's a sign with a harpoon on it next to the door.)
  • 6 of 12: Kill the splicers past the door, then move along until you come to the door that leads out to the upper wharf, watching for supplies all along the way.
  • 7 of 12: As soon as you walk out into the upper wharf area, you'll come across another little sister and big daddy combo, plus several splicers.
  • 8 of 12: The third and final big daddy for this region may be down in the lower dock area now, which is just east of the walkway you found the second big daddy on. If he is, you can use the tips below if you want to kill him now. If he isn't, you'll have to wait until later.
  • 9 of 12: After you've finished off those big daddies or decided to skip them for now, check for some hidden supplies in various areas, then find the padlocked gate under the big "Wharfmaster's Office" sign.
  • 10 of 12: Bash the padlock with the wrench to get the gate open, then kill the splicer that's just past it and search his side nook for supplies.
  • 11 of 12: Then get ready to deal with some *serious* security issues as you move ahead.
  • 12 of 12: After the wharfmaster's area is secured, look around for supplies, and then the research camera that you're supposed to get.
