Splicer Attack Tips
1 of 5: One of the best weapons to use against the splicers is the machine gun, especially if you have anti-personnel rounds loaded into it.
2 of 5: It's also good to have a security bot or two with you to help shoot the splicers. (See the Security Device Tips.)
3 of 5: Since you don't have to start the extraction process the instant you reach an ADAM-worthy corpse, take the time to set up some traps. (See the Trap Rivet/Spear Tips.)
4 of 5: Also, make sure you have a full load of first aid kits before you start the extraction. Unless there's a hacked health station nearby, you won't have any other way of healing yourself during combat.
5 of 5: Note that in the earlier game regions, only thuggish and leadhead splicers will appear during an ADAM extraction. Later on, you'll get more powerful splicers, such as brute and spider splicers. Remember that ADAM extractions are almost never necessary, and you can skip ones that are too hard to do.
