Bioshock 2 Hints

Find Daniel Wales at the Pink Pearl.

  • 1 of 10: Look around the upper walkway for loot, then return to Little Eden Plaza.
  • 2 of 10: Get out the research camera and head up the east-side street. There'll be a brute splicer brutalizing the Pink Pearl's entrance gate, and you'll want to research him while fighting him.
  • 3 of 10: Check the pneumo next to the Pink Pearl's entrance door for some special items if you spared Grace Holloway earlier, then go inside and grab the speargun.
  • 4 of 10: Go back to the maintenance area and use its vending machine and bot shutdown panel to get two fresh security bots, then return to the Pink Pearl and go up to the big doorway that leads to its ground-floor area.
  • 5 of 10: Grab the shotgun that's on the floor next to the doorway, then deal with the splicers you can see flirting on the second-floor walkway.
  • 6 of 10: Look around on the ground floor for supplies before going up the stairs to the second floor.
  • 7 of 10: After you go up the stairs, turn right and move toward the fire. A splicer will see you, so hang back and shoot her down. (Note that she might jump down to the ground floor in an attempt to get behind you.)
  • 8 of 10: After she's down, scour the second floor for combat and supplies before going up to the third floor.
  • 9 of 10: When you're ready to ascend to the third floor, deactivate your bots so they won't hit the two trap spears that are across the stairs near the top. Deal with the spears using the Trap Rivet/Spear Tips, then reactivate your bots and explore the third floor.
  • 10 of 10: When you find Daniel Wales' apartment, enter it and make sure all of your bots go inside with you, then turn right to see Daniel set up two more trap spears. This will lock you into the apartment and get you the "Defeat Daniel Wales" goal.
