Bioshock 2 Hints

Big Daddy and Little Sister Tips

  • 1 of 11: The rumbler in the live test facility should still be injured from the splicer ambush earlier, so go after him first.
  • 2 of 11: If you hacked the security camera that's near the wall vent in the holding cells area, you can use it to weaken the big daddy further before attacking him.
  • 3 of 11: Use the Freezing Drill strategy or whatever to kill him, then pick up his little sister. Also, loot him to get an audio diary.
  • 4 of 11: The best corpse to do your first gather with is the smoking alpha series corpse that's next to the oil spill near your hacked rocket turret.
  • 5 of 11: Your bots were undoubtedly destroyed during the gather, so summon a couple more and heal up at the waterfall that's just outside the live test facility.
  • 6 of 11: Go over to the lab's garden machine and start the second extraction with the corpse that's near it.
  • 7 of 11: When you dispose of this little sister, a big sister will show up.
  • 8 of 11: After the big sister is killed and looted, you'll need to get another little sister. If you were lucky, a little sister was "orphaned" during gather #1 or the big sister battle. If not, use the above tip for weakening the live test facility's rumbler, then kill him to get his little sister.
  • 9 of 11: Summon two more bots and heal up in the waterfall, then go to the raised platform that's near the west end of the holding cell area in the live test facility. After starting a gather on the corpse there, deploy a mini-turret near the corpse and stand near the red operating table. If you have two fully repaired elite bots, them and your mini-turret should be able to kill most or all of the splicers while you stay invisible.
  • 10 of 11: The second gather corpse is in the shower area's main room. As before, start a gather and deploy a mini-turret near the corpse. Stand in the doorway to the nearby control room and let Natural Camouflage hide you. When alpha series show up, you may need to help shoot them, but can probably just stay invisible and watch the rest of the time.
  • 11 of 11: And that was the final little sister of the game. Hey, it's been fun! Dispose of her at the nearby wall vent, then go spend your ADAM wisely. (You'll be able to get 300 more ADAM before the end of the game, but that's not much, and some of it is only available right before the end.)
