How can I unlock the hidden passage in the wall?

  • 1 of 13: First of all, you will need to have found the passage.
  • 2 of 13: In order to open the passage, you need to find out what the four slits in the wall mean.
  • 3 of 13: Examine them.
  • 4 of 13: Van Helsing will comment that he needs to construct a key, and find out how deep the holes are.
  • 5 of 13: In order to unlock the passage, you will need to make this key.
  • 6 of 13: Firstly, you are going to need to find out how deep each of the four slits are.
  • 7 of 13: To do this, you will need to combine some items to construct a tool.
  • 8 of 13: After you have constructed the tool, you can use it on each of the four holes in turn, and Van Helsing will mark the distances in his notes.
  • 9 of 13: After you have the distances, you need to gather some more tools to create the key.
  • 10 of 13: After you have gathered all of the tools, you need to find a workbench to do your carpentry on.
  • 11 of 13: Head down to the cellar and use the vice to begin the puzzle.
  • 12 of 13: Once the key is made, take it to the hidden passage and use it with any of the slits in the wall.
  • 13 of 13: The passage will then open.
