Dragon Age: Origins Hints
Mischief in the Larder
1 of 6: You'll get this quest when you meet Ser Gilmore outside the main hall while doing the "Father's Task" quest. (NOTE: This entire quest is all stuck in under the one objective of "Get your trusty hound out of the larder," so these hints won't have an objective list.)
2 of 6: You'll find the kitchen a short way directly NW of the main hall.
3 of 6: Enter it and talk to the cook about your misbehaving dog.
4 of 6: After the conversation is over, open the nearby door to enter the pantry and pick up your dog as a companion (and name him, too).
5 of 6: You'll then have to fight a bunch of giant rats that run to the attack. Fortunately, they're very wimpy creatures, and your two companions will be a big help in killing them.
6 of 6: After Ser Gilmore leaves, raid the sack and wooden crate, then exit the pantry to finish the quest.
