Help Gamlen search for your mother in Lowtown, or ask Gascard DuPuis if ....
1 of 5: NOTE: If Gascard DuPuis got killed on the "Prime Suspect" quest, you won't have the option to ask him for help.
2 of 5: If Gascard is dead, your only option is to travel to Lowtown on the Kirkwall Night map and look for Gamlen talking to an urchin at the west end of the bazaar.
3 of 5: Talk to the urchin and either give him 10 silver or intimidate him into telling you what you need. That'll get you the "Follow the trail of blood" objective.
4 of 5: If Gascard is alive, you could do the urchin/blood trail thing, or you could travel to Darktown and find Gascard at the very south end of the area.
5 of 5: Talk to him and say "do it" when he suggests using blood magic. You'll be teleported to the Dark Foundry and get the "Search the Lowtown foundry for Leandra" objective.
