1 of 5: Just north of the map exit are weapon and armor shops, plus a codex item on some crates.
2 of 5: In the area north of the courtyard, look in the small east side area to find another codex item.
3 of 5: Go up the stairs on the courtyard's west side and look for another codex item on the ground past them.
4 of 5: In the area south of the courtyard are the "Formari Herbalist" and "Mage Goods" shops.
5 of 5: The guy who runs the herbalist shop will give you the "Herbalist's Tasks" secondary quest. Also, look nearby for the guy you need to talk to for the "Map of Occupied Kirkwall" side quest if you have it.
