Agatha Christie: Evil Under the Sun Hints
How do I use Major Barry and the dog?
1 of 6: You may have wondered why you cared so much about Major Barry's ability to control dogs. Well, remember that cat in the post office?
2 of 6: What you're trying to do here is get the dog to run into the post office and get the cat to leave the mail-sorting area. Talk to the major and see what he can do.
3 of 6: Not too surprisingly, for all his big talk he can't do that much with the dog. You'll need to find something else that will lure the dog into the shop.
4 of 6: Dogs are always hungry, and this guy looks like he's been living on potato skins. How about a chunk of meat?
5 of 6: Go back to the pub and look for an old corned beef sandwich on the table (yecch). Once you have it in inventory, go back to the chemist; when you walk in, Poirot will automatically put it down on the floor and the rest will proceed as ... well, not exactly as expected, but it has the right effect all the same.
6 of 6: Once the cat is gone, you can move the mail-sorting desk and "find" the missing letters. Give them to the shopkeeper, and you can now use the lab equipment.
