Fallout: New Vegas Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints

Activate the Ashton Missile Silo lift and head for the Divide.

  • 1 of 9: Grab the Industrial Hand weapon from the nearby footlocker, then equip it or Bonesaw's chainsaw before going through the nearby door to enter the Ashton Silo Missile Lift area.
  • 2 of 9: TIP: Before you do that, fast-travel back to the Hopeville Missile Silo Bunker area, then go a short way south to find the entrance to the new Courier's Mile area.
  • 3 of 9: A couple of tunnelers will attack you soon after you enter the silo lift area, so hang back and saw them up before getting on the lift.
  • 4 of 9: Find the lift's activation console near its back right corner, but quicksave before you use it and get the "Survive the elevator ride to Ashton Missile Silo" objective.
  • 5 of 9: After it's over, leave the lift and go through the doors ahead. Look around on the top floor for a sentry-bot-guarded room with an autodoc and a commissary terminal in it, plus a locked door (Science 75+ to hack its terminal) with a destroyed eyebot past it.
  • 6 of 9: Return to the entry room and go down the stairs, then go through a door to enter the main silo area.
  • 7 of 9: Go around the walkway to the other side, then take the stairs down into the rubble. (TIP: Look for a Science skill book in the north corner, on the highest layer of rubble.)
  • 8 of 9: Past a ramp, watch for two tunnelers to attack you. They'll try to trick you by running into tunneler holes, but they'll be back to attack soon after.
  • 9 of 9: Past them, go through a large doorway and then a small door to get the "Make your way to the roof of the collapsed office building and reach the ..." objective.
