(Optional) Tell Yes Man that you're familiar with the Brotherhood of ....
1 of 3: After you finish the ranger-eliminating task for the Brotherhood, you're free to return to Yes Man and tell him that you want the Brotherhood left alone.
2 of 3: You could go ahead and do the Brotherhood of Steel Faction Quests for their many rewards (including a safehouse and power armor training), but that's purely optional since you can't get any help from them at Hoover Dam later on.
3 of 3: Due to that, you may want to actually destroy the Brotherhood and their bunker (though note that there are no later-on advantages to that route, either).
