How can I get these robots to let me into the Strip?
1 of 5: The quickest way is to have 2000 or more caps in your inventory. If you don't, go do some more looting and selling (starting right here in Freeside) until you do.
2 of 5: If your Science skill is 80 or higher, you could use it in dialogue to force the robots to let you in.
3 of 5: The only other way to get the robots to let you in is to get a pass.
4 of 5: One way to do that is to finish the "G.I. Blues" Freeside faction quest and ask the King for a pass as a favor. After you do, you can get the pass from Ralph in the Mick & Ralph's store near Freeside's east gate.
5 of 5: Or you can skip that quest and go straight to Ralph. Ask if he offers any other services, then pass a Speech 50 check to get him to sell you a passport for 500 caps (or 375 caps with a Barter 50 check).
