Fallout: New Vegas Hints
Confront Benny at The Tops casino.
of 10: Now you're going to have to make the trip to New Vegas. There are many ways to get there, the most direct of which is to follow the road NW from Boulder City.
of 10: When you finally reach the end of the main road, you'll be near Freeside's large east gate. Go through it, then move down the street to the four-way intersection.
of 10: Kill the thug who attacks you, then turn right (NE) at the intersection. Turn left at the next two intersections to find a blue metal door leading to another section of Freeside. (Watch for more thugs along the way.)
of 10: Go straight SW down the road, watching for more thugs to kill, until you come to the Strip's north gate, which is guarded by securitrons.
of 10: Right after you enter the Strip, a securitron will give you the "The House Always Wins, I" quest. Even though it's part of the next set of main quests (where you choose alliances), you should still start on it now so you can get early access to the Lucky 38's Presidential Suite and cocktail lounge.
of 10: The Tops Casino is in the central section of the Strip, so go through the big gate that leads there, then go forward and look for the casino on the right.
of 10: When you enter, the Chairman Greeter guy will try to confiscate your weapons. Always choose the "keep holdout weapons" dialogue option to see if you're able to sneak anything by him. The higher your Sneak skill, the better the weapons you'll be able to keep.
of 10: Benny is standing around with his bodyguards at the north end of the northern gambling floor. You could walk right up to him and start a conversation, but it's better to search his suite first and find out more about his plans.
of 10: After you finish the search of Benny's suite, go back to the main floor and talk to Swank again. You can tell him that you want to negotiate with Benny or that you want to take him out right away. (The latter option gets you the "Assassinate Benny" objective, which is a good way to get Benny up to his suite alone for easy killing.)
of 10: Whenever and wherever you do it, talking to Benny will complete this objective.
