Fallout: New Vegas Hints
The Deathclaw Omelet Recipe
1 of 7: Go to Sloan (location 6 on the Zone 3 Map) and find Jas Wilkins in the mess hall shack.
2 of 7: Talk to her to learn that she'll give you her Aunt Rose's recipe for wasteland omelets if you bring her a deathclaw egg.
3 of 7: Needless to say, those are very rare and hard to get. You can randomly find them on dead deathclaws (mainly deathclaw mothers), and there are six non-random ones in deathclaw nest areas.
4 of 7: The only two deathclaw nests are at the Quarry Junction and the deathclaw breeding grounds east of the Colorado River. See the "The Assault on Quarry Junction" and "Deathclaw Treasure" undocumented quests for tips on how to get those eggs.
5 of 7: Once you have one or more deathclaw eggs, return to Jas and give one to her.
6 of 7: Talk to her again after the fade-out to get the Rose's Wasteland Omelet recipe plus the wasteland omelet she made from the egg you gave her.
7 of 7: NOTE: Wasteland omelets aren't really all that useful, especially if your Survival skill is low, so you'll probably prefer to sell the rest of your deathclaw eggs (and maybe not bother giving Jas one).
