How can I free the prisoners?

  • 1 of 7: Search around the base carefully, and you can probably find some information to help you.
  • 2 of 7: If you have the science skills, the computers will give you some hints.  If not, try talking to the few people who actually might have something useful to say to you.
  • 3 of 7: It turns out that the many of the systems in the Enclave are powered by a single reactor.
  • 4 of 7: Which is in turned controlled by a computer.
  • 5 of 7: Look for the big mainframe on the reactor (bottom) level.  Note that if you're wearing a disguise, you need to be careful not to ruin that disguise on your way down to the level.
  • 6 of 7: Detonating an explosive nearby will destroy the mainframe, and cause the reactor to go critical -- thus bringing down the forcefields.
  • 7 of 7: Just make sure that the village Elder knows that you're here, or she might not know to head for your ship.
