How can I get my party back?

  • 1 of 6: Note that once you've started the reactor countdown, there's no way to get back to the docks.  Frank will also attack you if you get to close to him. So I'd recommend leaving your party near one of the entrances to the top level, and then talking to them to get them to rejoin before you start fighting.
  • 2 of 6: You also might not have this opportunity if you've done anything overtly hostile.
  • 3 of 6: Like been seen destroying the reactor.
  • 4 of 6: Or been seen killing the President.
  • 5 of 6: It's possible to avoid combat in the Enclave, except against Frank Horrigan, if you use a disguise and take the above precautions.  Once combat starts, you might have a brief window while changing map grids to pick up your party again, but this isn't guaranteed.
  • 6 of 6: Finally, note that if you start getting attacked and your party is on the same screen as you, they will help out in the battle.  But this doesn't give you the opportunity to deliver any new weapons or armor, and I wouldn't count on their being with you once the battle is over.
