How can I get through the Uptown area?
1 of 11: Go north from where you enter to find a garbage can and a fire hydrant near a locked gate.
2 of 11: Unlock it, then go north down the street until you find another gate to unlock. Past it, look on the right for a door to some abandoned apartments that you can search for lots of loot and trog combats.
3 of 11: When you're done in the apartments, leave them through the door that's near the NE corner of the ground floor, then turn right and head down the street.
4 of 11: When you reach the base of a ramp that leads onto an old container truck, turn left and enter the large courtyard with the big, freaky statue. Move toward the statue until you're counted as discovering Haven, then turn left and go past a large hole with radioactive water in it to find a door to the Pitt Underground area.
5 of 11: You can only raid a small room in that area now, so do that and then exit back to the Uptown area. You could go enter Haven now, or you could read on to find out about some more Uptown areas to loot.
6 of 11: Go back to the ramp that leads up onto a container truck, and go up it this time. Partway up the ramps, check the room to the south for some beer and chems, then head on up to the top of the ramps.
7 of 11: The raiders named Lulu and Phantom may or may not be in this area. When you find them, talk to Lulu for some noodles, and Phantom for a radaway item.
8 of 11: Look in the side room to the east for a few containers to raid, then go around the ramp to the south to find a shooting range with some ammo and booze to steal. Go up the ramp to find a bedroom with a few more stealable items.
9 of 11: Go down the ramps that are just south of the shooting range, then turn right to find a large bunk bed room with lots of loose items and containers to raid. Go down the stairs in the SW corner of that room to find some more jet and beer on the stairs, then return to the bottom of the ramps that lead up to the shooting range.
10 of 11: South of there is a large room with a few stealable items, plus the door that leads to the Downtown area's upper walkways.
11 of 11: That's about it for the Uptown explorations. If you have the mesmetron, you might as well have some fun frenzying the raiders and making them kill each other so you can loot them. After that, fast-travel to the Haven area and go through the door that's past the big, freaky statue.
