Hazmat Disposal Site L5
1 of 12: This metro area connects L'Enfant Plaza (L'Enfant Plaza region) to Mall Southwest (The Mall region). This guided tour assumes you're entering from the Mall Southwest area.
2 of 12: Go down the starting ramp and look to the right for a Nuka-Cola vending machine, then move on to find a maintenance tunnel that leads to a door.
3 of 12: Past that door is a sewer tunnel where you'll need to start worrying about ghouls and radioactive barrels.
4 of 12: Skip the nearby cave tunnel and look for a toolbox, then move on down the sewer tunnel until you reach another maintenance tunnel.
5 of 12: Past it is a large room with a dead mercenary hanging over the railing. Loot him, then go down to the lower floor and through a door.
6 of 12: In the room beyond is a terminal that you can hack to activate the two nearby ceiling turrets. They can kill some ghouls for you, plus each other if you reconfigure their targeting parameters.
7 of 12: Search the dead wastelander on the ground near the ceiling turrets, then turn right and enter the cave tunnel that leads west.
8 of 12: When you reach the gassy chamber with two ghouls in it, detonate the gas from a safe distance with a frag grenade or laser weapon if you can, then check the chamber's west end to find a dead wastelander and a toolbox.
9 of 12: Go up the stairs and along the metal walkway to its other end, where you'll find a dead raider to search, followed by a large cave full of ghouls and radioactive barrels.
10 of 12: Go to the south side of the cave and up into the track tunnel section, then enter the maintenance tunnel off to the side.
11 of 12: After killing a super mutant, go through a door to reach a wide corridor with a baby carriage trap nearby.
12 of 12: Over to the left is a mattress you can sleep on, and down the other way is a metal gate that leads to the L'Enfant Plaza area.
