Winning Fruit-Flavored Mentats

  • 1 of 10: The only place you can do this is in the National Archives building (location 47 on the Zone 9 Map). See the D.C. Ruins Interior Regions hints to find out how to get there.
  • 2 of 10: After you enter the building through its front (southern) doors, go around to the other side of the wall that's directly ahead of you to find two terminals.
  • 3 of 10: First, use the "guess and win" terminal.
  • 4 of 10: It has eight questions that you need to answer correctly.
  • 5 of 10: Choose a question and keep trying answers until you find the correct one. Remember it, since you'll need to enter all the correct answers again after you enter your next incorrect answer.
  • 6 of 10: After you answer them all correctly, click on "CONGRATULATIONS! Claim Your Prize!" and choose to press for a voucher.
  • 7 of 10: You'll get the machine's last voucher, which you can redeem at the other terminal.
  • 8 of 10: You can get one fruit-flavored mentat from it.
  • 9 of 10: If you want more, go through the door in the room's NE corner and up the stairs (watching for traps) to an office with a safe.
  • 10 of 10: If you can pick the safe open, you'll find six prize vouchers inside.
