Section 6: Abomination Central

  • 1 of 7: Exit the decontamination chamber through its other door, then go through another door and on to get a checkpoint save.
  • 2 of 7: After you go through another door, a door ahead of you will partly open, revealing two abominations in the room beyond.
  • 3 of 7: Don't bother shooting them, though -- just let them scurry away.
  • 4 of 7: Look for a medkit on the right before you crouch-walk through the door.
  • 5 of 7: Stop just past the door and wait for two abominations to appear. The first one will run into sight a bit ahead of you, and the other will drop down right in front of you.
  • 6 of 7: As before, use a shotgun and SlowMo to quickly kill them before they can hit you or grab onto you. (If they do grab on, hit the Melee key repeatedly to knock them off.)
  • 7 of 7: Right after you kill those two, you'll get the "Override the lockdown in the specimen holding area" objective. After you finish it, you'll be on this objective's Section 7: Escaping Abomination Central.
