How can I get to the guardian's caverns?

  • 1 of 11: Since the elevator can't be used yet, look around near it.
  • 2 of 11: Get on the small wooden platform that's next to the elevator and look down.
  • 3 of 11: There's a wooden ledge not too far below you on the other side of the shaft, so sprint forward and land on it.
  • 4 of 11: Check inside the tunnel next to the ledge to find a large fan that's jammed by a wooden table.
  • 5 of 11: Move down the tunnel past the fan until you can drop down into a cave tunnel full of webs and antlion grub worms.
  • 6 of 11: After bashing through a few webs, you'll fall down into some water.
  • 7 of 11: Dive down to find an underwater passage blocked with webs that you need to bash through.
  • 8 of 11: After you get past the second web, look out for more barnacle tongues as you swim for the surface.
  • 9 of 11: Go past the barnacles and look around for an above-water entrance to a tunnel with blood smeared all along it.
  • 10 of 11: At the end of that short tunnel is a drop-off into some winding tunnels that have three antlion workers in them.
  • 11 of 11: Move along in those tunnels until you come to another drop-off, but save your game before you make the drop -- it'll take you down into the antlion guardian's area.
