Section 3: The Larval Extract (ep2_outland_04)

  • 1 of 9: Go forward and along the track until you reach a large room with a nonfunctional elevator.
  • 2 of 9: The vort says that the stuff you're after is at the bottom of the pit (meaning the elevator shaft), so you'll have to find a way to get down there.
  • 3 of 9: To start with, you need to find a way to reach the antlion guardian's cavern area.
  • 4 of 9: Starting the moment you drop into the antlion guardian's area, you'll have to dodge that powerful freak as you make your way to the bottom of the elevator shaft.
  • 5 of 9: Once you reach the bottom of the elevator shaft, you'll have to figure out how to get the elevator working again.
  • 6 of 9: After the vortigaunt arrives, follow him as he goes to a nearby generator and uses it to open a door.
  • 7 of 9: Past the door is a vast cavern in which the vort will get a sample of the stuff that he needs to help Alyx.
  • 8 of 9: Wait while he gets it, then follow him back to the elevator.
  • 9 of 9: Ride up it with him to reach Section 4: Alyx Gets Healed.
