The Orange Box: Half-Life 2: Episode Two Hints

Hit and Run (EP2_KILL_ENEMIES_WITHCAR)

  • 1 of 7: To complete this achievement, you'll need to kill 20 enemies by ramming them with the muscle car.
  • 2 of 7: You can start doing this in Chapter 4's Section 1: Hunted at the Radio Tower by ramming some of the hunters with the car, but that's way too dangerous and damage-prone.
  • 3 of 7: Instead, wait until you're driving while under chopper fire in Chapter 4's Section 2: Combine Advisor and Chopper. There are several zombies you can run over then.
  • 4 of 7: Remember that after you make it to Section 3, you can return and ram zombies at your leisure without having to worry about the chopper.
  • 5 of 7: After that, keep looking for zombie-ramming possibilities, as there'll be plenty in the areas ahead.
  • 6 of 7: After you destroy the autogun and get the car back in Chapter 5's Section 1: The Autogun, you can drive back and forth along the path leading from the garage to the toxic area, killing more and more zombies, until you've gotten this achievement.
  • 7 of 7: You'll have to have patience, though, since Alyx and a resistance guy will kill some of the zombies with gunfire before you can hit them. Also, don't forget that there are plenty of zombies in and beyond the toxic area for you to ram, so you don't have to catch your limit here.
