Section 2: Combine Advisor and Chopper (ep2_outland_07)

  • 1 of 8: As you drive along, you'll pass by a crashed advisor pod on the left, then come to an entrance to a small farm area.
  • 2 of 8: When you get near the buildings, you'll start experiencing a peculiar kind of mental distortion that indicates a Combine advisor is nearby.
  • 3 of 8: Wait for Alyx to use a console to remove the covering of the advisor incubation chamber's power source.
  • 4 of 8: After she does, hit the bouncing energy orb with a Primary Fire burst from the gravity gun to get rid of it.
  • 5 of 8: Then wait through the lengthy non-interactive sequence in which the advisor gets away.
  • 6 of 8: After that, you'll have to deal with a bunch of Combine soldiers and a hunter who attack.
  • 7 of 8: As soon as that attack is over, a Combine chopper will fly in and start shooting at you.
  • 8 of 8: After you crash your way into either one of the twin tunnels, move along it to get Section 3: More Chopper Problems to load.
