How can I survive the initial manhack attack?
1 of 10: Notice the long white ladder in the room not too far from where you land.
2 of 10: It leads down past the grate-style floor that you're on.
3 of 10: If you climb down the ladder until you're under the floor, it'll be a lot harder for the manhacks to swarm you.
4 of 10: Also, you could shoot up at the explosive barrels and blow the whole room full of them from safety.
5 of 10: But remember what you recently learned about manhacks and water.
6 of 10: And notice that the room beneath the grate-like floor has some water in it.
7 of 10: The best way to fight these manhacks is to run for the long white ladder as soon as you land and climb down it to the bottom. (Or jump off it partway down to get to the bottom faster.)
8 of 10: Then crouch in the water and whack manhacks with the crowbar as they approach you, not forgetting to surface for air when you need it.
9 of 10: TIP: Crouch on the large circular drainage thing that's on the floor under the water so that you can just stand up to get air instead of having to jump up.
10 of 10: Another advantage of this method is that if you don't blow up the explosive barrels, that makes it *much* easier for you to get to a secret area with an armor battery in it.
