How can I raise the water level in this area?

  • 1 of 10: You need to find the red valve wheel in the large vertical room with all the twisting pipes in it.
  • 2 of 10: To get to this room, first get up onto the larger section of the barrel room's upper walkway.
  • 3 of 10: That walkway has a side passage that leads to the top of the pipe room.
  • 4 of 10: Starting at the top, you need to carefully drop down on pipes several times to get to the valve wheel.
  • 5 of 10: NOTE: If you fall down into the water, you'll have to climb the nearby ladder all the way to the top and try again.
  • 6 of 10: Start by dropping from the highest brown pipe to the one below it.
  • 7 of 10: Then crouch-walk along it until you can drop to a white pipe. (The skinny one, not the thicker one that's a bit higher up.)
  • 8 of 10: Drop from there onto a pair of small white pipes.
  • 9 of 10: Now you can easily reach the valve wheel and turn it (with the "Use item" key).
  • 10 of 10: You can then either climb the ladder on the wall or just ride the water up.
