More Soldier Combat Tips
1 of 13: Have the shotgun ready and start running across the bridge when it's almost fully lowered.
2 of 13: A soldier will run out of the doorway ahead, and you'll want to double-barrel him to death before he can shoot anybody.
3 of 13: When you go through that doorway, quickly kill the soldier to the left.
4 of 13: Then move forward a short ways and kill the one that drops down right in front of you.
5 of 13: Then finish off the two soldiers you can see on the floor below you through the big floor hole.
6 of 13: After that, get one of your squad members to drop down through the floor hole without you having to do so. To accomplish this, use the "Send/Recall Squad" key while aiming at the floor beneath the hole, then use the same key while aiming at a nearby part of the floor you're on as soon as one person drops down.
7 of 13: Be ready to help him shoot the soldiers that come out of hiding to get him. He'll probably be killed, but you can use the following tip to get a replacement squad member.
8 of 13: TIP: Before you drop down, go all the way back to the old "password" door and around that whole area, searching for supplies and replacement squad members if you lost any.
9 of 13: When you're ready, get your pulse rifle out and drop down through the large floor hole.
10 of 13: Run to the corner past the fire and shoot the two soldiers that are around the corner and down the little hallway. (If they didn't come out when you had a squad member drop down ahead of you, that is.)
11 of 13: Switch to the shotgun and move down that hallway to get two more soldiers to drop down right in front of you (and another may run in from a side corridor).
12 of 13: After they're all double-barreled, switch to the SMG and go to the end of the little hallway you're in, then turn left and toss an SMG grenade through the nearby wrecked wall toward the cluster of soldiers.
13 of 13: Then go around and finish off any survivors with the pulse rifle, after which you should visit your big supply stash under the main floor hole before going further.
