How can I repair the boat?

  • 1 of 8: There are two possible ways to solve this puzzle.
  • 2 of 8: However, for either of them, you are going to need to pay a visit to a merchant who can provide you with some tools to repair the boat.
  • 3 of 8: Head to Uncle Gopesh at Pop's Supermarket, and ask him whether he has any tools for sale.
  • 4 of 8: He can sell you either a hammer or a paintbrush, and in order to get either item, you have to perform a different "favor" for his family.
  • 5 of 8: If you choose the hammer, you will need to feed Luigi, the plant in the cage outside (near Murphy).
  • 6 of 8: If you choose the paintbrush, you are going to need to rescue Loretta, who has been kidnapped by Rupiah.
  • 7 of 8: Now that you have obtained your tool, you will need to use it to repair the boat.
  • 8 of 8: The repair process differs slightly depending on whether you decided to take the hammer or paintbrush.
