How do I change Zak back into a human again?

  • 1 of 11: First, you'll need the formula -- or recipe.  Ghost Nightingale was given the task of providing Lydia with the formula.
  • 2 of 11: You'll have to find the ghost Nightingale and ask him about it.
  • 3 of 11: After you have completed the tasks in the room with the ghost library and have re-visited the Forge Classroom, Nightingale will be available in the student quarters hallway (part of the Main Tower).  Speak to Nightingale to learn that the recipe is in a book found in the ghost library.
  • 4 of 11: After you have solved the puzzle in the Solarium classroom, and the puzzles in the Forge classroom, go back to see ghost Nightingale again (he will still be in the student quarters hallway) and give him the book you picked up from the ghost library.
  • 5 of 11: Nightingale will give you the formula to change Zak back into a human.  Lydia will need to return to the laboratory to brew a potion.
  • 6 of 11: Before Lydia can turn Zak into a human, she will need three ingredients -- a claw, hair, and dribble.
  • 7 of 11: If Zak is a dragon when Lydia returns to the laboratory, she will automatically take a claw from him. 
  • 8 of 11: To collect the hair and dribble, she will need to transform Zak again to collect them.
  • 9 of 11: The formula with the yewlock, headen, and nigilis will turn Zak into a cat.
  • 10 of 11: The formula with Aleunder root will turn Zak into a wolf.
  • 11 of 11: Once Zak has been all three forms in the laboratory, and Lydia has gathered items from each form, she is ready to transform Zak back into a human again.  Use the formula with the wolf dribble, cat hair, and dragon claw.
